So I haven't commented on The Biggest Loser this year yet. It's half way through the season and I've been watching have you? Why is this all so fascinating to us even after as many versions as we've been through.

A couple of weeks ago, actually I think it was on the night of the Turducken incident I was asked with my mom to do a walk for breast cancer. The walk is this morning. So I'll check in later and post more about it. This is the first time I've ever done anything like this. I'm not sure how long the walk is, I think it's 5k but we'll see! Check back later for more details!

I'm sitting up in my room/apartment, it's 6:30 in the morning and the rain has been falling since yesterday morning. I know it doesn't rain here much but I'm ready for it to stop. At work yesterday people were talking about the weather and how nasty it was. I was thinking to myself that I've become such a wimp. This weather isn't nasty, it's rainy and windy that's it. I'm not shoveling feet of snow, as a matter of fact I was at the beach just the day before sitting on my rump and reading a book. Life can't be that bad right?

Hey Everyone,
Haven't written in awhile because I've been working daily until I finally got a day off yesterday. I spent a lovely day walking and on the beach! What glorious weather we have been having down here in the panhandle of Florida. The temperature is reaching the mid seventies and blue skies. It's supposed to rain today so I might not get in my outside walk but maybe when I get home from work I'll walk on the treadmill.
Hope everyone is well out there.....

Ok so you all know that I'm trying to lose weight so you haven't seen a lot of reviews in the past couple of weeks. But this is my my favorite thing to make because it's so good and good for you.
Basically, you buy cole slaw mix and then pour a bunch of stuff in it. In this creation I have a head of broccoli and cauliflower, raisins, apple and then some flax seeds. The dressing is Newman's Own Sesame Ginger dressing. It's something you can keep in the fridge and eat all week long. Just cook some chicken and add it to it.
What are your favorite healthy recipes?

Do you ever have these moments where you totally intrespective about your life? When your sitting alone on a beach, going for a walk or for me at about 4:30 yesterday morning I was standing on my porch above my apartment. I was lost in a daze thinking about people and friends from long ago drinking a cup of coffee. I looked up to the right side of the sky and out of the corner of my eye I saw a shooting star. It was one of those magical moments.
Not much news on the weight end. I'm down about three pounds. I got some new headphones called V-Moda Vibes to go with my iphone so I can walk, listen to music and talk if I want to.
I guess that's it for now! Enjoy your day!

Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to write a quick check in. I'm doing much better in my working out. I've walked everyday except Tuesday because I was at work late. I feel like I'm finally stepping back into my routine of working out and not going to the bars etc. I noticed this week that when I work out I sleep much better than I when I don't.
I also wanted to publicly thank Charlie for his kind words that he posted on the Marlin Grill post. He said he was dedicating a mile of the Chicago Marathon to me on Sunday, which is great! Let's all put out great vibes to Charlie that he does a great job fulfilling a life dream!
All right I gotta get dressed to go to work. Have an awesome day everyone!
